So I won't be updating or uploading anything else to this deviant art account anymore. I just don't feel like this is an environment that is suitable for my art anymore. Perhaps in the future that will change, but even if it does I would start fresh with a new account. This is basically to say goodbye, though I won't be completely gone. I have made friends with a few people on this site and I will check back once in a while to view messages.

Happy New Year! I know I'm slightly late, but oh well.

It doesn't look like I'm going to get any drawings up here before school starts again. Normally I would feel bad and apologize, but I don't this time. Why? Because I have actually been drawing a lot over the break so I've still been practicing. I just haven't really done anything to completion to be able to show you guys.

I do hope to get some art up in the new year, and I likely will at some point. My new years resolution is actually to start doing anatomy studies, so even if you don't see art up here I'm still drawing. My friend even bought me a fantasy anatomy book for Christmas

Aside from that wonderful news, my winter break has started! So I plan to get at LEAST one piece of art up here during that time. Preferably I'll put up more than one, but I don't know how busy I'll be relaxing and such.

Anyways, my last journal entry was about how I didn't see myself using dA much anymore in the future, and it is true that I haven't posted much recently. I had considered actually abandoning my account once my premium membership runs out, but after seeing that people are still favouriting my work, following me and generally still sticking around, I had a change of heart.

Seeing that people are still interested in my art (even if it's relatively old art) is extremely encouraging. I look at people popping up as followers and favouriting my art and it means so much to think that someone looked at my work and thought "Wow, I want to see more of this".

So, that brings me to my main point. I've decided not to abandon my account here and do plan on updating my gallery soon. While I'm in college I don't have a lot of free time to work on any personal projects, but with winter break coming up I hope to be able to get some more art up. I have also been trying to incorporate personal projects into school projects, so you might even get to see some of those.
